Linda M. Robinson, M.D.
Born in China to missionary parents, Dr. Linda Robinson came to Coats as an infant when her father accepted a partnership with another primary care physician who was already in practice. With the exception of her high school and medical training years, she has been a resident of Coats ever since then. Dr. Robinson graduated from Campbell University in Buies Creek and completed medical school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She did her internship and residency training in Family Practice in Asheville, NC and returned to practice at Coats Medical Clinic in 1979. With the strong support of her husband, she was able to practice full-time and raise three children to adulthood. She is now enjoying the joys of grandparenthood. During her 30+ years in active practice, Dr. Robinson has been heavily involved with the North Carolina Medical Examiner System. She has served as the Harnett County Medical Examiner since 1979. Her other areas of interest are the Hospice of Harnett County, with which she has worked for more than fifteen years. She also serves as a Senior FAA flight examiner and has performed more than 300 flight physicians/year since 1998. |

Christopher W. Stewart, M.D.
A native of Buies Creek, Dr. Stewart attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he earned a B.S. in biology and a minor in chemistry. He is a graduate of the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Dr. Stewart completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina, including a year as chief resident. Dr. Stewart is Director of Student Health Services at Campbell University and serves as Medical Director and Associate Professor in the Physician Assistant Program at the Campbell University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. In his free time, Dr. Stewart enjoys running and is an avid reader. He is working toward his black belt in shotokan karate and will soon begin his studies in the MBA program at Campbell University. Of course he always has time to spoil his two nephews, Alex and Nate. |

Gerald E. Brenneman, P.A.C.Jerry Brenneman, P.A. was born in Erie Pennsylvania. His father was a career Army officer who traveled around the world, taking his family with him. As a student at California State College, Jerry was studying to be an economics teacher when he was drafted as a medic into the Army for the Vietnam War. Like his father, Jerry spent many years in the Army. He took his wife Debbie and three sons with him around the world. During his Army career, Jerry earned both Associates and Bachelors of Science degrees from New York State University. In 1978, he was chosen for the then new Physician Assistant degree program at the Academy of Health Sciences at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. He graduated with honors as a Physician Assistant and a warrant officer in 1981 and completed his internship at Eisenhower Army Hospital at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. After ten years as an army Physician Assistant, Jerry retired from the service and brought his family to Harnett County, North Carolina. After working with Dr. Juberg for twelve years, he joined Drs. Robinson and Stewart at Coats Medical Clinic in 2005. Jerry currently divides his time between caring for patients at Coats Medical Clinic and the Campbell University Student Health Services. He enjoys both the energy and sparkle of teaching college students and is also active in Campbell's sports medicine program. When he is not practicing medicine, Jerry enjoys wood working, photography, traveling with his family, and working on the farm land where he lives in Harnett County. |

Brandy Lee Embry, P.A.C.Brandy Lee Embry, P.A., an Arizona native, is a newcomer to both North Carolina and the Coats Medical Clinic. She received two Associates degrees with honors from Paradise Community College. She received her Bachelor's degree from Northern Arizona University and a Masters in Physician Assistant studies from A.T. Still University. Brandy sat on the Board of Trustees at A.T. Still University for nine years and was a member of the Board of Directors for the Arizona State Association of Physician Assistants for twelve years. She is currently an Associate Professor for A.T. Still University, a volunteer for the emergency recruiting team for national emergencies, and a civilian contractor for the U.S. military. Her articles have been published in both the Journal of the American Medical Association and the Journal of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She looks forward to working with the new Physician Assistant program at Campbell University.
Brandy has five children and enjoys spending time with them as well as with her animals. Her hobbies include reading, playing card games,and baking. |
